Freya has been a very influential cow for our program being our TOP oocyte and embryo producer, no matter what bull we pair her with! Therefore, We have a bunch of potential babies from her for years to come so we figure it’s time she finds a new pasture. Not only is she a beauty but she always breeds up fast, calves with ease, and keeps great body condition year round. She has an excellent udder, is crop ear free, and has great feet. She is what some would call a HighBelt at 75% Highland. She is naturally polled. Freya has a full big beautiful belt and is that beautiful light dun color we love. Out of all her babies from live cover or embryo- she has only had two solid calves that weren’t marked up with a belt or the highpark pattern we crossed her with so we always know its going to be something great no matter what. She is currently being exposed to our bulls, and is available with her mini bull calf at her side who also has a full belt and is sired by our mini bull Jude, making him high percent highland at 87.5%. His DOB is 7/6/26 and if this is his summer hair, we can’t wait to see that winter brings. Freya’s calves always have major hair and that’s another thing we love about her.

Freya does not want to be a pet, she prefers the life of a pasture cow. She would happily take all the treats you will give her but no pets or brushes. Once she knows and trusts you she’s very easy to be around. She is easy to work, easy through the chute, and easy to move pastures, but until then she prefers to have a buddy around. She is a very good mama cow! She is always protective of her new babies like any cow can be, but given a little time she always settles in.  Any questions please reach out!
